"Thank You" to Community for Generous Support During the Holidays

Angel Baskets is issuing a huge THANK YOU to the community for giving generously during the last 6 months of the pandemic to keep food pantries in Norwood and Telluride open and stocked.

When the food bank distributor in Colorado Springs ran out of the most basic food supplies, the community sent much needed monetary donations to Angel Baskets. YOU made it possible for us to feed 13,360 people so far in 2020, more than 3x as many as last year.

We do not see food insecurity diminishing in the near future. This emergency response has now become our new normal.

Angel Baskets has decided not to risk the safety of our volunteers in order to operate a public headquarters on Colorado Ave. Consequently, there will also be no toy collection programs. Instead, Angel Baskets board members will assemble the food and gift card packages and deliver on December 5th, ensuring time to shop prior to the holidays.

This year, please MAKE A DONATION in lieu of the traditional gift or toy purchase to help buy food and gift cards for fellow community members who are struggling financially. We anticipate 2x the normal amount of families requesting holiday program support in 2020.

Please help us bring as much joy and comfort as possible to our neighbors in need.

Sincerely,
Angel Baskets Board of Directors
